She is a licensed clinical social worker from Oakland, California with over 20 years of clinical experience working with children, teens, and adults in a variety of settings including non-profits, school-based mental health programs, hospitals, hospice and primary care health centers.

Outside of the therapy groove, Tracy enjoys listening to music- is a lover of Hip-Hop, collecting art, being out in nature, and is an avid learner of astrology, cardology, and tarot. She loves to travel with her family, any beach will do. Tracy’s mantra is do no harm and take no shit.

EXperience

Tracy's approach to therapy is centered around understanding her clients' backgrounds and using that information to help them make brave changes in their lives. She supports her clients in understanding how their upbringing creates a ‘blueprint’ for how they move in the world, and the changes that need to be made so that they can feel more resilient and satisfied in their daily lives. For some, it may be the story that they tell themselves or the negative self-talk that keeps them stuck in unhealthy patterns and behaviors. By understanding her clients holistically, Tracy is able to assist them in dismantling what is no longer serving them and create a space for growth and change. Tracy calls it changing the narrative, changing the stories client’s make about who they are, consciously or unconsciously. Tracy encourages her clients to show up for themselves by staying true to who they say they want to be or what they want to do, unapologetically. She uses approaches and techniques from Narrative, Cognitive, Psychodynamic, Gestalt, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused therapies when working with her clients.

Tracy's holistic approach to therapy encourages her clients to take ownership of their lives and make positive changes based on a deeper understanding of themselves and their past experiences. By working with her clients to change their narratives and create more positive stories about themselves, Tracy helps them move towards a more fulfilling and satisfying life.

Tracy’s passion is working with adults- individuals, couples and families around and with:

issues with infertility ✧ family building  postpartum ✧ new mom support   pregnancy and infant loss  birth trauma  ✧

Tracy has a deep understanding of the challenges and complexities that can come with becoming a mother, especially in the face of trauma and loss. She has experienced the death of her newborn daughter after a traumatic hospital birth. Tracy’s path to motherhood has been an unconventional one and is open about acknowledging bad things can happen; you don’t always get the happy ending we are often sold about becoming a mother. While not all paths to motherhood are easy or straightforward, she creates a safe and supportive environment for her clients to share their lived experiences. Tracy prioritizes her clients' access to resources and information. She is committed to helping her clients make informed decisions about their own paths to motherhood. By doing so, Tracy is empowering her clients to take control of their own journeys and make choices that feel right for them.
